Ghana: According to a new survey, Angola ranks #1 in the world for the percentage of women who own businesses.
According to a new Taiwanplus poll, Angola is the leading country in terms of the percentage of women who own/manage enterprises.
The poll detailed the countries leading the way for entrepreneurial women on the world arena by analyzing data from sources such as The World Bank, Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, and International Labour Organization.
According to the report, Angola has the highest percentage of women business owners/managers (35%), followed by Guatemala (24.9%) and Burkina Faso (21.2%). The poll also discovered that Central and East Asia had the greatest rates of established business ownership for women, at 6.9%, 1.3 percentage points higher than the global average.
