Kenya: Hasirah hasirah! Jacque Maribe’s son is something Eric Omondi regrets denying.

Eric Omondi, a comedian, has apologized for publicly denying his supposed son with Jacque Maribe.

In a recent interview with Mwende Macharia, the comedian stated that, although defending his brand, exposing the youngster in the drama was unnecessary.

“I regret denying that child in the public. Hasira hasara. I spoke about it and blogs blew the story out of proportion,” he said.

In 2021, Jacque Maribe accused Eric of being a deadbeat dad.

“I wanted to clean my brand since fake stories had been said about me. In the process, I tainted the child in the bad light although that was my truth,” he said.

When asked if the case had gone to court, Eric responded that he had been warned not to speak about it.

“I was advised to keep quiet. We did not solve the whole issue but I have a good relationship with the child and also with Jacque Maribe. She is a good friend to me,” he said.

A DNA test on Eric Omondi’s child with Maribe had been requested.

Eric, according to Maribe, doesn’t provide for his son and doesn’t pay for his son’s school expenses. She also chastised him for being ignorant of the whereabouts of his son.

The self-described President of Comedy, Eric, provided his perspective on the situation on his Instagram page.

Eric went on to say that he had requested the baby’s DNA after it was born, but Jacque had refused and was upset about it.

“We used protection and after two Months Jacque told me she was pregnant! I immediately ask her how since we used Protection??? She then tells me ‘it doesn’t matter the mother always knows who the father is and that I am the father’.

During the entire pregnancy, nothing happened and we barely saw each other.

Roughly 4 months after the baby was born Jacque called me and asked me if I would help or be part of the baby’s life,” he said.
