Slami Ifeanyi, a Nigerian singer and composer, was reportedly shot dead in broad daylight by unknown gunmen.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday morning, November 27, and was carried out by unidentified gunmen.
According to reports, the former Mr. Anambra Universe was traveling alone in his freshly purchased Lexus 330, which he purchased around 2 weeks ago, when he was ambushed and killed in Umubere, Awka, Anambra State.

“HE WAS DRIVING HIS NEW CAR WHICH HE BOUGHT JUST TWO WEEKS AGO, WHEN IT HAPPENED. ALTHOUGH, WE DON’T KNOW WHY HE WAS ATTACKED BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A TARGETED ATTACK.“
The 31-year-old’s death follows that of popular gospel singer Samie Okposo.
