PHCN official lands in hospital as angry residents break his leg in Edo
An employee of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) was attacked by members of the Ugbiyoko village and sustained a leg fracture.
According to reports, when the official went to the community in Edo state to fix a line breaker, angry teenagers surrounded him.
According to sources, the event occurred on Monday, and the assault caused him to break his leg.
The community has been completely in the dark for more than a month, and it was learned that the teenagers are upset and angry about this.
Infuriated locals also kidnapped two of his colleagues who traveled with him to Ugbiyoko.
He is seen in a video becoming viral online being driven to a nearby hospital, where he is allegedly receiving treatment.
