BNXN, formerly Buju, Phyno, Asake, Flavour, Kizz Daniel, and Goya Menor all won accolades in different categories.
However, a video of Phyno and Flavour’s expressions as Goya Menor ascended the AFRIMMA stage to make his appreciation speech after winning the ‘Best Newcomer’ award elicited strong reactions from netizens.
While Goya Menor was cheering the crowd, Phyno and Flavour, who were sitting next to each other, continued to give him a chilly stare.
Flavour received the ‘Best Video Of The Year’ award for his hit single ‘Levels,’ while Phyno received the ‘Best Rap Act’ award.
While some found the video amusing, others used it to make other insinuations.
