Godswill Akpabio, former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, says he intends to appeal to the Supreme Court over an Appeal Court decision that invalidated his election as All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Akwa Ibom North-West in the 2023 election.

This was stated by Akpabio, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, in a statement issued on Tuesday in Uyo.
