Trending video: A Zambian couple holds a traditional Igbo wedding
A Zambian couple’s decision to dress in Igbo regalia for their traditional wedding has gone viral.
The Igbo are an ethnic group/tribe indigenous to Nigeria’s south-east.
The groomsmen and guests who attended their wedding in Zambia dressed up as well, wearing a variety of Igbo attire to honor the culture and tradition.
In a video that has gone viral, the crowd can be heard singing and cheering with words Igbos use to greet one another.
The couple was seen walking majestically as guests chanted and praised the groom, known as Isu Emmanuel.
”Izu Kwenu! Kwenu! Aseee!!!”
