Brilliant 13-year-old girl skips high school to study Medicine at US university, graduates with outstanding record

The youngest black woman to receive a medical degree in the United States is a 21-year-old who began her studies at a university at the astounding age of 13. (USA).

Zindzi Thompson, a remarkable 21-year-old woman, completed medical school at that age despite the fact that she had to hold a bachelor’s degree in order to be eligible to become a doctor.

She began her university studies at Mary Baldwin University in Virginia, USA, when she was just 13 years old, and she finished them when she was 16 years old. She enrolled in Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, after receiving her university degree.

A few years after beginning medical school, she graduated at the astounding age of 21. She then smashed the record by becoming the nation’s youngest black female doctor.

In response to her remarkable achievement, Zindzi reflected on how she had always wanted to become a doctor ever since she could remember. She had aspired to be a doctor since she was three years old, according to her parents.

“She’s wanted to be a doctor since she was 3 years old and we saw that she was a little bit different starting at three. So since she was three, she’s worked towards this goal,” Machelle Thompson (Zindzi’s mother) said.
