Will it stand the test of time? – Daniel Regha slams Ruger for bragging about his song being No. 1

Afrobeats superstar Ruger has come under fire from Nigerian social media pundit Daniel Regha for being conceited.

He berated the performer for boasting that his most recent single, Asiwaju, peaked at number one on the music charts.

Regha claims that even if the song has won the top spot, there is no assurance that it will endure.

He said that Asiwaju is not an outlier and mentioned a recent discovery that musicians pay streaming farms to give their songs a boost online.

The Influencer tweeted; ”Ruger is bragging about his song Asiwaju peaking at No. 1; But it’s not just by dominating charts, will the song stand the test of time? Cos the song !sn’t unique. Besides, it’s no news that artistes nowadays dominate the charts with the help of payo!a & bot streams. No shades.”

According to prior reports, Daniel Regha requested that award-winning musician and music executive Olamide bring comedian Carter Efe to court.

He asserts that the content producer sampled Asake’s music and advised the YBNL chief to sue him if he did so without authorization.

Asake is a client of YBNL Nation, Olamide’s record company.

According to rumors, Carter just entered the studio to record and release the song Ololade Mi Carter, which features Funny Muller.

Regha claimed in response to the album’s release that Efe was utilizing the success of other musicians and the Organise crooner to advance his own career.
