Young African Lady bags first-class Bachelors and Masters degree in Civil Engineering on the same day

Nneka Praise Okoro, a young Nigerian woman, earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering on the same day from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.

Praise, who shared her remarkable accomplishment on LinkedIn, stated that she spent five years studying at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom before receiving both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in civil engineering.

She joined the University of Edinburgh in 2017 and achieved a 1st Class Masters Degree In Civil Engineering after 5 years. “Just graduated with a 1st Class Masters Degree In Civil Engineering from The University of Edinburgh,” she wrote on Linkedin.

Praise held offices as vice president of the University of Edinburgh Nigerian Society and secretary of the University of Edinburgh Engineering Society during her tenure there.

She expressed gratitude to everyone that has supported her throughout her academic journey. “This journey has been 5 years In the making and I cannot thank everyone enough for how much they have supported me along the way. It really takes a family,” she said.
