Young African Lady who won over $1m scholarship award to US university has graduated as among top 10 in her set
Somiah Aseda, a young and smart woman from Ghana, graduated from the University of Houston in Texas, the United States, with honors after receiving numerous scholarships.
Somiah earned a Bachelor’s degree and was one of the top students in her class, graduating with an impressive 3.90 grade point average out of a possible 4.
She uploaded photos of herself wearing the University of Houston’s graduation gown on social media to mark her achievement. She stated that her intelligence was the reason she was accepted into each of the ten American universities to which she applied.
“I’m here to publicly thank God for my academic accomplishments. acceptances from all 10 schools that I applied to,” she wrote on Instagram.
She also disclosed that she received numerous scholarships totaling $1 million while she was a student at the University of Houston in Texas.
“A million dollars in scholarships & grants,” she added.
