Nigeria: Harrysong, a singer, was detained in Lagos in connection with his dispute with Soso Soberekon.

Harrison Tare Okiri, also known as Harrysong, a Nigerian musician, has been arrested by personnel from the Lagos State Police Command in connection with his ongoing dispute with music mogul Soso Soberekon.

Remember that the celebs have been at odds since Harrysong claimed in a recent interview that Soso is not his friend, as many believe, and that he sent goons to kill him in Port Harcourt.

Though he did not identify a specific last name, many concluded he was talking to Soso Soberoken, a music executive and talent manager.

Soso did not take the claim lightly and filed a lawsuit against Harrysong, requesting that he recant the remark and pay N500 million in compensation. He also threatened Harrysong with legal action if he did not comply within seven days.

He then filed a complaint with the Inspector General of Police, accusing Harrysong of slander and endangering his life. Harrysong, on the other hand, called his bluff and mocked his threat to sue.

According to reports, Harrysong was apprehended by police operatives at the Lagos airport on Tuesday morning, October 11.

He will be questioned about the incident and may be freed or jailed depending on the outcome of the police investigation.
