Young Lady bags multiple university degrees after working as a waitress to fund her education, celebrates achievement

Mitchell Mhlanga is a remarkable African woman who achieved achievement despite having to work as a waiter to raise money to enroll in college.

South African-born Mitchell Mhlanga described her difficulties before obtaining a university degree. She revealed that in 2010, the year she graduated from high school, she was accepted to the University of South Africa to pursue a Bachelor of Laws.

She had worked as a waitress to pay for her school, but she was unable to continue her university studies. Due to a lack of funds, she left law school in her second year in 2013.

She eventually relocated to China to pursue her studies after being accepted to Shanghai Lixin University, where she was able to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Economics.

She eventually graduated from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Economics and went on to complete a Master’s degree in International Public Administration (JUFE).

Celebrating her achievement on Instagram, she shared images of her graduation saying that she is a degree hotter. “I’m One Degree Hotter Today. I Came, I Saw, I Mastered,” she said.
