Young Nigerian Lady graduates from US university as a Nurse, wins best student award

Adejoke Moronkola, a talented young lady from Nigeria, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in the United States, among other honors and achievements.

Before enrolling in a nursing program, 26-year-old Adejoke completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Lagos in South-West Nigeria.

She went on to get her Master’s degree in Public Health at East Tennessee State University in Tennessee, the United States, in 2018. She enrolled at the same university right after receiving her Master’s degree to pursue an expedited nursing degree.

Adejoke completed the two-year Nursing degree program and earned an exceptional 3.91 grade points out of a possible 4.00. On LinkedIn, she announced her success and stated that in addition to earning a nursing degree, she had also been granted a license to practice nursing in the United States.

“On May 7th of this year, the young girl who came to the United States (U.S.) 4 years ago with big dreams fulfilled one of those dreams – she graduated with a nursing degree, and, on June 27th, she became a licensed registered nurse in the U.S,” Adejoke wrote on LinkedIn.
